I rest my case simply by quoting the BBC:The BBC news website asked the prime minister's advisor on women's development, Nilofer Bakhtiar, if stopping Ms Mai from travelling may have done more damage than if she had been allowed to go.
"I don't want to get into that. All I want to say is that whatever decision the president took was the right one."
This lady deserves the Victoria Cross for sycophancy above and beyond the call of sanity.
